My love for cooking started in my Grandmother's kitchen in Diego Martin, Trinidad when I saw her prepare meals for my family. She could somehow turn the simplest meal into a classic favourite and make sure that every one regardless of the amount of food was satisfied. I learned about community and sharing in that kitchen. I learned that all meals can be delicious if the main ingredient is love. I try to infuse that sentiment into my food. Making traditional Trinidadian fare, but adding my Caribbean cooking sensibilities to more than just my Trini foods. Welcome to meals #FromBjsKitchen.
